Why I feel dizzy?

On Monday( 28/3/2011 ), I feel dizzy. It was not serious. Maybe it will be gone tomorrow, I thought. On Tuesday, I still feel the dizziness. Oh, my GOD. I decided to see doctor. On Wednesday, I went to PPUM staff health. The blood test was showing good result( glucose level is good, no hypertension, good cholestrol level ) and blood pressure is at normal level. I told the doctor, the diziness will be more severe when I sneez or cough. And I also heard a very soft low frequency sound almost for whole day long. He recommended me to go for ENT clinic. On Thursday, I passed all tests at ENT clinic. The doctor recommended to do the audiology test. This test was also showing good result( no problem of hearing any low and high frequency soft sound ). The doctor said, the cause of the dizziness is not coming from the ear. Anyway, he still recommended me to take Betaserc( Betahistine dihydrochloride ) to see whether it cures or not. If it is not working for me, then I have to go for neurology clinic. At the night of Thursday, I asked myself, what are the chances of getting inner ear problem and a brain tumor. Sneez and coughing are having one common characteristic. Both of them are generating body vibration. When my body is vibrating, off course it will be causing the inner ear vibrate as well. If my inner ear is having the problem of abnormal fluid flow, the vibration sure will make the abnormal flow worst. That is why the dizziness may become more severe. This is my guessing. On Friday, I did not feel the dizziness anymore. It shows that Betaserc works. This is also showing that, any statement coming from doctor is always based on his past experience. The young doctor never do guessing. Off course, I still want to thank him of recommending Betaserc eventhough he think the problem is not coming from the ear.

Should Traffic Summon Be Given Discount?

No, because RM300 is too cheap for paying the summon. It should be raised to RM1000 or RM1500 or even of your one month salary. Not even this, police department should be always making sure that drivers with unpaid summon should not be allowed to renew their road tax and driving licence.

Why there are a lots of illegal driving style in Malaysia? One is because of the chances of getting the summon. If you park your car illegally for 100 times how many summon you think you will be getting? The rate is too low. I think not even 1% of the times you will be getting the summon.

Second reason is the pay for the summon is too cheap. And even discount may be given. This is really defeats the purpose of issueing summon. If one day, the summon could only be cleared by your one month salary and not paying it you will be brought to court or stay in jail, people then may scared of doing something illegal on the road.

Third reason is, even the summon is not cleared, road tax or driving licence could still be renewed. I don’t know why this could be happened eventhough police department always claim that no renewal could be done.

It always happen that a lots of people disagree of raising up the payment for the summon. They give the reason of this could be bringing up the cases of settling the cases illegally by paying the police officer personally. If you don’t do wrong, why you scared of raising up the payment? The problem of settling summon illegally should be solved by better solution, instead of disagree of raising up the payment. I believe those people who disagree are the drivers who always make illegal style on the road.

One day, if anytime when you do something illegal on the road you sure be getting summon and not a single time that you did not receive summon, and if one day, if the summon is cost you one month salary, and if one day if you sure cannot be renewing your road tax and driving licence if you don’t settle your summon, I would be very happy to know how many people will dare to park illegally, how many people will dare to exceed the speed limit. There will be no one, except for those who earn money illegally.

Credit card, is it a good tool in your life?

You may find a lots of opinion on credit card through many websites or articles published on news paper. A lots of people( so called expert in financing ) telling others that don’t use credit card.

A knife is a good tool in your kitchen. It also could be used to kill a person. Why the knife is not totally be banned since it could be used in killing? I treat credit card same as a knife. You may earn more money through credit card. You may also use it wrongly and get bankruptcy. If you use credit card wrongly and make your life in big trouble, please don’t blame credit card. Please blame yourself, blame your own attitude of using credit card, blame your bad habit of purchasing goods. If you use a knife to kill a person, I believe you won’t blame the knife. So why people keep blaming credit card? If you are asking people don’t use credit card, you are like asking people not to use knife. This is totally not the solution for the problem. We all know that you won’t ask people not to use knife in your kitchen. So why are you asking people not to use credit card?

Blaming credit card sounds quite familiar to all of us. This is because we may receive such message from the whole world and the whole world thought the blaming is reasonable. Somebody even educated guy refuse to have a credit card just because of receiving so many bad messages on credit card. You know very well that nobody will be blaming the knife because you never heard such argument before. But actually blaming the knife is exactly same as blaming the credit card. Why you will be feeling weird when I am blaming the knife? Why you won’t feel weird if I blame credit card? Knife and credit card are just two dead object which are used for our conveniences. For me, I will feel very weird if you ask me not to use credit card. This is because I know credit card very well.

You will feel weird if people ask you not to use knife. This is because you know very well on knife, you know what could be done and what could not be done by a knife. You won’t use the knife wrongly. Because you know very well that killing people by using a knife will be a big trouble for you. When comes to credit card, the seduction is so great, to own something which is not affordable at all. And you don’t think it will be a big trouble for you in one day. Or you think you may pay back bit by bit monthly but somehow comes to one day then you realise that you are not able to clear the amount. Then you know you are having a big trouble. If you are this kind of people, then I am sorry to say that, you are not qualified to hold any credit card. If you treat credit card as a monthly instalment to purchase anything, then it would be the highest interest rate instalment plan.

For somebody, before holding a credit card, he was not able to buy let say a set of luxury furniture. After holding a credit card, without much pay/salary increment, he is able to buy that luxury furniture. Is the great seduction making people not thinking rasionally? Or this is just the problem of showing off? Or just love to be treated as a rich man by the promoter? No comment on this. Maybe we need to interview somebody who dare to buy something which is actually can’t afford through cash. I would like to remind that, for an adult, we think of the consequences before we make an action. If you don’t think of the consequences, then you are not an adult.

If you are a full payment cardholder, not paying any fee and charge to card issuer beside enjoying the conveniences provided by credit card, you may apply for more credit cards to earn more through credit card. Credit card becomes one of the good tools in your life. If a financial expert comes to you and advise you not to use credit card, you maybe laugh at his childish argument.

How to earn money through credit card

Many people treat credit card as one of their expenses, something which cost them money. Many people refuse to have a credit card even for educated guy. They think, once they have credit card, they are going to pay more. This is totally wrong. They do not understand what is credit card, what credit card can does for them. Some pay more just because of their own bad habits of using credit card.

Credit card may earn more for us if we use it wisely and chose a correct credit card for us. The most two important factors to make credit card earn more for us are, annual fee waived cards and no interest charged card.

Before we apply for a credit card, we have to make sure no annual fee will be charged. There are some credit cards which are totally free for whole life without any condition. Some are free with conditions. A normal condition such as, at least 12 purchases made for one year. Another normal condition is, at least certain purchase amount made for one year. Please make sure you may fulfill the condition before you apply for it. Besides this, I will also consider the waive method used. Some credit card issuers just need a call to waive the annual fee. And some need to see your signature on black and white. You have to be very clear about this before credit card application. For me, I will only apply for a credit card which just needs a call because I am not willing to send an application form to apply for the annual fee waiver. This is just because I need to pay more if I need to send out an application compare with a telephone call.

Second factor will be, no interest charge. We have to make sure we are able to pay full before we purchase anything by using credit card, such that no interest will be charged. The interest charged through credit card is the highest rate among all banking facilities. If you are using credit card to own something which you actually not affordable, then you are paying more to the credit card, you can not earn through credit card. If you are this kind of person, then you may stop reading this article. We may make credit card earn more for us only when we are able to paying full statement balance.

We are not suppose to spend more money in making payment to the credit card. For me, I prefer the payment make through internet banking which is the most convenient and cheapest payment method. If I need to go to the banking hall to do the payment, then I need to pay for the petrol, car parking and I am wasting more time to do so.

With three factors above, we are paying the minimum amount, which is maybe one telephone call to get the annual fee waiver and the internet banking charge. If the credit card is a free for whole life card, we even save the telephone call. Below are five factors which may make us earn some money.

Firstly, every month we have to make a full payment before the due date. If we pay cash for our purchase, our money will leave our wallet or purse before we have the goods. But if we are using credit card, our money is still in our banking account earning the interest. If we are able to pay the credit card payment after a longer period, then we earn more. For example, if I made a purchase on one day and I need to do credit card payment after 10 days, then I earn 10 days interest just because the money is still in my banking account for 10 days. If I do credit card payment after 20 days, then sure I will be earning more compare with 10 days. So now, how to have a longer repayment period, even for more than one month?

You at least must have two credit cards with their statement date almost half month apart. Before using your credit card, just choose the credit card which just past the statement date. For example, one credit card with statement date 5th of every month and another one with 20th of every month. If today is 7th August, then I should be using the credit card with statement date of 5th. If the due date is 20 days after the statement date, then the due date to do the credit card payment will be on 25th of September. This is because the statement date for the purchase on 7th of August falls on 5th of September. How much interest you will be earning because of paying late? The interest you earn will be from 7th of August to 25th of September which is total of 50 days( more than one month ). If you pay your goods in cash, you are losing the chance of earning 50 days interest because your money leaves your wallet on 7th of August. By having two credit cards with statement date half months apart, we will be having a higher average repayment period. Let say we just have one credit card with statement date of 5th of every month and today is 4th of August. We have no choice and have to use this credit card even though we know tomorrow will be the statement date. The due date for this purchase is falls on 25th of August. It means we earn 22 days interest. If we have another credit card with statement date 25th of every month, then we may use that card for the purchase and we may earn 42 days interest from this purchase( assume due date of 14th of September ).

Most of the credit cards provide redemption point. We may get something we want by using redemption points we have, without paying a single cent for the goods. When I need some electrical items for my house, I always look for it from the redemption list. But if you refuse to use credit card, you have to pay for everything you need.

Many card issuers provides 0% interest instalment plan for cardholders to buy expensive items like furniture. This make cardholders more easier to own something expensive( of course you have to make sure you are able to pay the instalment full every month ). The plan helps you even earn more interest( using the same concept mentioned above ) because of the long period of instalment plan( from 6 months to 2 years ). The most important issue here is, the plan must be interest free. Longer the plan, the more you will be earning.

One last chance to earn more will be the cash rebate or cash back. Some credit cards provide cash rebate plan. The cash rebate rate is about 0.4% to 1% of the statement balance. The rebate is reducing the credit card balance. Some cards are giving one flat rebate rate and some are depends on your statement balance.

All whatever mentioned above is true in Malaysia. Some may not be true for your country. Please do your verification before any credit card application. Please use credit card wisely to make it earn money for us.

Let me guess, what should be your question, what you want to know. Most probably you need to know how to transfer one credit card balance to another credit card, such that the balance for one credit card decreases and balance of another credit card increases. In Malaysia, this could not be done manually by credit cardholder himself. There is no such internet banking function available for the cardholder to do it himself. This must be done by card issuer or finance/banking institution. You have to do application to the card issuer. This is common in Malaysia. And usually, the card issuer will apply a lower interest rate on the balance to encourage cardholder to do the balance transfer.

Please think of both pros and cons for both credit cards before you decide to take the cash advance.
